The musical "Safari" is an environmental
musical. The theme related to being guardians of the environment.
In preparation for the night new carpet was
laid, new chairs purchased, new sound equipment purchased, the stage was
updated and the hall was re-painted.
The musical was an activity of the
College's Parents and Friends Association. Members of the Association
volunteered their time over many weeks with making of the costumes and back
drops. They were aided by a visiting artist. Students were involved in the
making of back drops.
Special guests for the Thursday night included
local Governmental Representatives and Environmental Group's Representatives.
The event proved to be an outstanding
success. They were enjoyable nights.
