The
BCC
WAY
.
Next year the College will be implementing a Policy called the
BCC
Way
. This will cover wearing of school uniform, homework, home readers and behaviour in and out of the classroom.
The purpose of the Policy is to change student's behaviour. The focus will be on rewarding behaviour that has changed positively and implementing consequences for behaviour that is not changing or changing negatively. Clear guidelines will be established.
This will be trialled in first term.
A parent meeting will be held early in term one to explain the
BCC
Way
. Once the trial is finished parents will be asked to sign a
BCC
Way Agreement between themselves and the College
Coles Sports for Schools.
I will let you know how much money we have for sports equipment when I am informed.
Healthy Food Shack
There is no Healthy Food Shack for week 9. It is class parties.
Swimming.
Do not forget swimming continues on
Monday 29 November and Wednesday 1 December.
Year 7 Graduation.
The College congratulates year seven students who are graduating. We wish them the best as they go onto High School next year.
Class Parties.
Please note these are being held on
Wednesday 1 December rather than the Thursday as in previous years. Class teachers will be contacting parents about their party.
Presentation Night.
A reminder
. This is on
Thursday 2 December at
7.30pm
in the College Hall. The purpose of the night is for students to receive College Awards. Awards are given to students who have shown significant improvement or gained outstanding results and are modelling the
BCC
way.
There will also be some items and the Principal's Report.
Parents, could you bring a plate for supper.
Ten Pin Bowling.
A reminder
. Our break up for the year is on
Friday 3 December at Ten Pin Bowling from
9.30am-11.30am
.
The cost is
$9.00. This covers the cost of the game, shoe hire, drink and chips. Parents are to take their children directly to Bowling and pick them up at the Bowling Alley. Students will be supervised by staff.
